For the places we call home, for the people we share it with, and for the fish and wildlife that take us there:
This one is for you.
At Rockhouse, our first love is the outdoors. Whether on calm water, windswept peaks, or playing the breeze in our favourite treestand, the story that we are so lucky to tell is the one that we love the most. Going, seeing, enjoying, and most importantly, having the opportunity to share it with all of you when we are done, is something we are extremely grateful for.
Another year, and another taste of the best of our best.
Dustin, Matt, Colin, William, and Aaron
In March on the prairie which surrounds Rockhouse HQ, as farmers, ranchers, and conservationists burn off last year's growth, flames reach skyward. As the fire, smoke and ash took to the sky, so did we, via the DJI Inspire Drone. With an inferno below us we challenged ourselves and our equipment, as we so often love to do, and we were amazed by the results. Heat, smoke, and wind challenged the drone, which saved us from the stinging eyes and burning lungs it normally takes to capture the essence of a blaze of this magnitude, and laid down some of our favourite aerials we have ever captured.
We owe a thanks to friends and family on hand for fire support, DJI for the drone, and RED for the supporting footage. Enjoy!

A Deliberate Life
There comes a time in all of our lives when we let ourselves dream about living life on our own terms. When we wrestle with the decision to take a step into traffic, follow our passions and live deliberately - or simply let another day, and daydream, pass.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if we make the decision of our own accord, or life makes it for us. It’s where our heart and soul are that matter. For some, the result is a closer alignment between vocation and avocation, for some it’s a reprioritization of what’s important in life, for some it’s the very real difference between life and death.
Set primarily against the diverse, rugged and breathtaking landscape of Idaho and Oregon, A Deliberate Life explores the stories of five unlikely friends who share the same love of fly fishing and the outdoors and their choice to lead a life according to their passions.

The very tip of the iceberg, this sums up our in-house animation, 3D, motion graphics, and design capability.
To those who each and every day lay it all on the line for our freedom, there is no thanks we could ever give that would be worthy of your sacrifice.
This reel is a sampling of our in-house graphics capabilities. While it shows what we have done, it by no means shows our limits, because as William so humbly says, "I can do anyting, man"
While much of this work is for our own projects, we also hire out 3d/graphics/design services, so be sure to contact us at [email protected], or 620-755-4083.

Inspired by the memory of good friend Andrew Brose, Aaron Hitchins and Will O'Brien take to the Yukon wilderness in pursuit of Moose, Arctic Grayling, and adventure.
Flying in upstream of dangerous whitewater, without a guide, they find themselves up against harsh elements and unknown circumstances. Lacking the capabilities to do it on their own, they must rely on each other to succeed, and survive.

“What is it that draws us to water? To canyons and coastlines and glaciers and lakes? What is it that keeps us dreaming about these places, not thinking about the paper due tomorrow, or next week’s presentation, or whatever it is that’s stinking up the fridge? What is it that leads us here...”
What draws us to water is what drives us every day at NRS. Stroll through our headquarters in Moscow, Idaho and you’ll meet passionate rafters, whitewater kayakers, sea kayakers, stand up paddlers, kayak anglers and fly fishermen. Whether designing gear, assembling products, creating catalogs, answering phone calls or shipping orders, we are dedicated to providing the equipment, expertise and inspiration that empowers adventures on the water.
